The Fenix E35R rechargeable pocket torch offers a light output of up to 3100 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 260 metres. This excellent performance is achieved thanks to the modern Luminus SST-70 LED. Power is supplied by a high-capacity 21700 Li-ion rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh.

Charging is done via the USB-C connector on the side of the torch. The E35R replaces the successful E35 V3.0 and adds an integrated charging port and a magnetic tailcap. The torch was designed with simple operation and wide usability in mind.

Six lighting modes let you choose between high output and a runtime of more than two and a half days. There is also a dazzling strobe for emergency situations. The Fenix E35R uses digitally controlled constant current to ensure stable light output even as battery voltage drops (during gradual discharge).

The torch is equipped with an ultra-thin collimator manufactured using automotive-industry technologies. Switching on and changing modes is done with an ergonomically positioned side button. A practical magnet in the tailcap allows the torch to be attached to iron objects.

Using the Fenix E35R work torch
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the torch on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use. To switch on/off, press and hold the side button for about 0.5 seconds; the torch always turns on in the last selected mode, except for the two highest (turbo and high). You can switch output modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. The strobe can be activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds. After releasing the button, the strobe turns off.
Charging - lift the rubber cover of the charging port on the side of the torch and connect the included cable (USB-C connector); plug the other end of the cable into a computer or a USB mains/car adapter. During charging, the indicator LED lights red. When fully charged, it lights green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approx. 3 hours (with a 2A power source). During charging, the 30, 150 and 350 lumen modes can be used.
Intelligent overheat protection - If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the output is automatically reduced. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the highest output can be used again.
Battery charge level indication - after a short press of the button (torch must be switched off), the LED indicator in the button activates. If the indicator LED lights green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Flashing green means 50-85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 25-50%. Flashing red indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining.
Button lock - to prevent accidental activation in luggage, quickly press the button twice within 0.5 seconds (torch must be switched off); the torch then flashes twice in low mode and cannot be switched on. Unlock by quickly double-pressing the button again. Accidental activation can also be prevented by loosening the torch body.
Low battery warning - the side button starts flashing red and the torch will gradually switch automatically to the lowest mode.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the torch head yourself; doing so will void the warranty.
Use only high-quality 21700 Li-ion rechargeable batteries to avoid damaging the torch, for example due to battery leakage.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. Following these rules will ensure the torch is properly protected against water.
If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher output, or does not turn on, it may be for one of the following reasons
- The battery is discharged; recharge it.
- The contacts inside the torch are dirty - clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
- The torch body is loose; tighten it.
