VDO

The history of the VDO brand dates back to Germany and 1929, when it began to develop and manufacture automotive mechatronics and electronics, and eventually branched out into the bicycle industry. In late 2022, VDO introduced a brand new line of bike computers called the R Series, which includes five models, two of which use GPS signals.

With its diverse features, the new R Series models support cyclists of all categories - from casual cyclists to e-bike riders to performance riders.The basic R1 and R2 models are available in both wireless and wired versions, while the R3 model, equipped with altitude measurement, is only offered in the wireless version. The VDO R4 and R5 models belong to the category of "smart" cycling computers - they use GPS signal and offer a wide range of functions, including connection with a smartphone app.
