  • Large display, easy operation and 17 functions: the R Series GPS computer displays all the basic data that beginners and advanced riders alike will appreciate. In addition to displaying speed, daily distance travelled, and ride or training time, this smart computer also provides navigation functions and can be paired with compatible e-bikes.

    The high-contrast 2-inch display with extra-large digits is easy to read even when riding. The highlighted blue square at the top right of the display provides a new way to view training data. Combined with the SIGMA RIDE smartphone app, up to six individual training data displays can be set up with a few clicks.

    The VDO R4 GPS is mounted on the handlebars using a pre-mounted bracket (included), so the computer is centrally located above the stem. The mount fits handlebars with a diameter of 31.8 to 35 mm. No cables or sensors are required.

    1. Easy navigation
      The VDO R4 GPS computer can be easily paired with the SIGMA RIDE smartphone app. With this app, it is possible to import routes from other sources or head to a specific destination using the "Search & Go" function and its detailed turn-by-turn instructions. These are displayed on the computer display as arrows while the phone is safely tucked away in a pocket or backpack.
    2. Ready for e-bikes
      The R4 GPS can also work with many e-bike models. The computer connects to a compatible e-bike system and displays the current level of motor support, battery status and other important data on the screen.
    3. Smart Alerts
      This feature allows you to stay connected to the outside world even while cycling. Information about incoming calls and text messages from your smartphone will be displayed on the computer screen.
    4. Convenient data analysis with the SIGMA RIDE app
      The SIGMA RIDE app is a free tool for transferring training data from your GPS computer to your smartphone via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). The app clearly presents the basic data and statistics with colour segments that are instantly readable and easy to analyse. You can instantly share your ride data in training apps such as Strava, TrainingPeaks or komoot.
