Using the Fenix TK20R V2.0 flashlight
There may be a black insulating cap on the battery inside the flashlight from the factory. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.
To turn on , press the larger tactical button located on the end of the flashlight, press the button for immediate activation. Press the adjacent toggle button to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to flash mode (strobe) with the flashlight on, hold the toggle button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To switch the flashlight directly to strobe mode, press and hold the switch button.
Intelligent overheat protection - due to the flashlight's huge 3000 lumens output, the flashlight experiences a temperature rise. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the power will be automatically reduced. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the highest power can be used again.
Battery charge indication - the charge indicator is hidden under the protective nut of the charging connector for tactical reasons, so the nut must be unscrewed to check it. The flashlight always indicates the battery charge status three seconds after switching on. Green indicates a sufficient state of charge (100% - 85%), green flashing (85% - 50%), steady red (50% - 25%), and flashing red indicates a critically low battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is low, the flashlight will automatically switch to lower power modes, then flash 3 times every five minutes in the lowest mode.
Charging the flashlight - Unscrew the protective nut under the head of the flashlight and use the included USB-C cable to plug it into a computer, USB AC adapter or USB car adapter (not included). Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can be used to charge the flashlight. During charging, the indicator LED opposite the charging connector glows red, and when fully charged it glows green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 3.5 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from a memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time. The torch cannot be switched on while charging.

Caution
Only use high-quality 21700 Li-ion batteries to prevent damage to the flashlight, for example due to battery leakage.
Insert the batteries with the positive terminal facing the flashlight head.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight blinks, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost dead - charge it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The back of the flashlight is loose, tighten it.
