  • The freezing weather created ideal conditions for climbing. You enter the wall early in the morning expecting a wonderful climbing experience. The Rab gloves are equipped with Primaloft® insulation to ensure that you return from the climb with all fingers intact. The Gore-Tex® membrane effectively wicks moisture away from the inside and prevents outside moisture from reaching your hands.

Keep a firm grip on your tools with every hit, and maintain hand feel when drilling bolts thanks to the 3D construction and ergonomically pre-curved shape of the gloves. In the event of inclement weather, simply and quickly pull down the high cuffs with one hand, effectively preventing snow and wind from reaching your hands.

  • The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.

But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cool, breezy evenings around a campfire.
