The Flex 335 knife has been manufactured in Mikulášovice for several decades. The development and production of the knife began in the 1970s and its purpose was to become a helper for all craftsmen. Gradually it developed into one of the most used electrician's knives.
The first pieces of this knife were produced with a plastic handle and a carbon steel blade, which corroded when working in wet environments. The current knife offers a much more comfortable and safer use when working. The knife blade is low-pointed, 80mm long and made from high quality Type 420 stainless steel with a hardness of 53-55 HRc.
The knife edge is on the underside of the blade and is finished with a sharp point which has a paring action. The blade of the knife is made of high quality and durable plastic, has an ergonomic shape that follows the clenched hand when squeezed, thus allowing comfortable cutting without unnecessary blisters or calluses. It has a guard-shaped cutout on the front to prevent slipping of the hand and subsequent injury.
This knife is taken as an electrician's knife, for easy cutting and mating of cables and easy shaving of cable insulation. It is very popular in gardening for removing growths and encroachments or for grafting, it can also be used as a scribing knife.
