The FSA SMR - Smart Cable Routing - system is designed based on a versatile combination of a headstock and head assembly that allows for a variety of integrated and semi-integrated cable routing. The SMR system provides a "plug-in" solution for bike brands that want to internally route cables, wires and hoses from the cockpit to the frame. Compatible with both electronic and mechanical shifting and hydraulic and mechanical braking, the SMR system is truly the most versatile and adaptable cable management solution on the market. The SMR stem can be customized for both complete internal cable routing from the handlebars through the stem and headset to the frame, as well as semi-integrated cable, wire and hose routing under the stem held by the SMR cover. The adjustable length cover allows for cable routing without removing the stem, while providing a sleek and aerodynamic look and base for different handlebar variations.
