Fleece jacket with dual construction for optimum thermal comfort even in extreme cold. The Mont's dual construction combines baffled chamber construction eliminating cold seams with chambers sewn through for optimal insulation of individual body parts.

The front and back of the torso and the top of the sleeves are sewn with baffles, while the side panels, bottom of the sleeves and the hood are sewn through.

The outer layer is made up of Nylon Featherlite RipStop DWR fabric, which is a tightly woven, very lightweight and breathable Nylon fabric with a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment. It is the tightly woven fibers that stop even very strong winds, while still allowing your body to breathe freely.

One of nature's best insulators is duck down. This is what we use to fill Hill jackets with 650 Cuin. The down is mixed with small feathers in a 90/10 ratio - this is because the small feathers are flexible and help maintain the shape of the chambers and the fluffiness of the material.
