Race Face Era handlebars set a new standard in carbon components. During their development, the manufacturer set a single goal: to achieve the perfect balance between flexibility and stiffness. The result is a revolutionary approach called GL tuning (Goldilocks Tune), which solved one of the biggest problems with current handlebars—the loss of flexibility when shortened. Standard handlebars lose up to 24% of their flexibility when shortened from 800 to 760 mm, leading to fatigue in the hands and forearms. Race Face has addressed this with a clever solution: the Era is available in three widths (760, 780, and 800 mm) with different rise heights (10, 20, and 40 mm). Each variant features its own 96-layer carbon construction, ensuring the ideal combination of stiffness and flexibility. The result? Handlebars that adapt to you, not the other way around.
- GL tuning – perfect flexibility tuning
A special construction with 96 layers of carbon in different configurations for each width ensures maximum flexibility without losing stiffness. - Individual settings for every rider
A choice of three widths and three rise heights guarantees that you’ll find exactly the handlebars that suit you and your riding style.
- UD carbon construction
- 96 layers of carbon
- Reduced clamp area (60 mm)
- 8° back sweep, 5° up sweep
- Cuttable to length as needed
