The natural property of merino wool is its ability to neutralise sweat and eliminate unpleasant odours. The polyester fibers with added silver ions are mildly antibacterial and increase the tensile strength of the sock. Elastane is known to improve elasticity. Reinforced shin area eliminates blisters from ski boots.

Plush heel and toe area is abrasion resistant. Low knit toe cap helps wick away moisture. The top hem of the sock is sufficiently flexible and does not pinch. Kilpi ANXO-U socks are available in several colours.

Merino wool comes from sheep living in the cold regions of New Zealand. Garments made from this material are very soft to the touch and comfortable on the skin. Merino wool helps to neutralise sweat thus naturally eliminating odour, is resistant to dirt and has self-cleaning properties. The fibres are able to absorb large amounts of moisture while still retaining their properties. A merino wool knit is ideal for thermal underwear, underwear, socks or other products that are in direct contact with the skin.
