If you are looking for a fast XC bike that offers high efficiency and low weight, then we have the carbon hardtail XTC Advanced 29 for you. This bike is a great choice for XC races and marathons, as well as for cross-country rides outside of race tracks, when you are mainly interested in a great riding experience.
The bike is based on a very light Advanced Composite carbon frame – in size M, it weighs only 995 grams. We manufacture carbon frames in our own factories from the highest quality raw materials using advanced manufacturing methods and processes. This gives these frames high stiffness at low weight and provides excellent riding characteristics for performance and racing cycling.

The frame is designed to provide high pedaling efficiency and perfect bike handling. Its construction is unique, i.e., the composition of individual carbon parts in manual production varies according to frame size. Vertical flexibility is optimized so that the frame has the necessary stiffness while remaining comfortable. This achieves excellent riding characteristics for every frame size.
The frame geometry is, of course, fully based on what the bike is designed for and what a modern XC bike should look like. The head angle is 69.5° (70° for sizes L and XL), so the fork is more laid back, which helps improve the bike's handling on fast descents and technical sections. You will appreciate the 73.5° seat angle on steep climbs, where the bike will readily climb and hold its line very well thanks to your ideal riding position.
Founded in 1972, Giant is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the world.
Giant is the world's leading brand of high quality bicycles and cycling equipment. As part of the Giant Group, founded in 1972, the Giant brand combines craftsmanship, advanced technology and innovative design.
Giant has long been one of the leading innovators in cycling. They introduced lighter and stronger aluminium frames at a time when steel was the industry standard. They were the first to make carbon fibre bikes widely available to the world. They defined modern road bike design with Compact Road geometry. And the patented Maestro suspension revolutionized the full-suspension bike segment.

| Weight | Unfortunately, there is no standard for weighing bikes that all manufacturers adhere to, and the weights listed are often inaccurate. To find out the exact weight of a bike in a given size, you need to have the bike weighed at the store, as well as a model from a competing brand – this is the only way to get accurate figures for weight comparison. |
