For more than 85 years La Sportiva has been making the highest quality technical boots in the world for alpine climbing. La Sportiva's headquarters are located in a small mountain town at the foot of the Dolomites. La Sportiva is a family business, many of its employees come from families that have been with the company for eight decades. It's a unique situation in the modern corporate world. It is also unique that La Sportiva manufactures more than half of its goods in a small, company-owned and operated factory in Italy.
