Kids Ride Shotgun is an innovative brand from New Zealand that was founded in 2017 out of a simple need—to allow parents to share their passion for mountain biking with their young children without having to split up. Founder Dan Necklen, together with designer Tom Hayward, created a revolutionary front seat that attaches to the bike frame; it is lightweight, easy to install, and designed to fit modern full-suspension MTBs.
By positioning the child in front of the rider, it not only promotes safety and control but also encourages the child’s active participation in the ride and helps them develop good habits.
