Gerber Legendary Blades is an American manufacturer of knives, multi-tools and other outdoor and military tools based in Portland, Oregon. Gerber is owned by the Finnish company Fiskars. The Gerber brand was founded in 1939 by Pete Gerber.

Gerber was the first knife company to work with a custom knife maker when it partnered with World War II knife maker David Murphy.

Bear Grylls also designed the Gerber line of survival knives. Gerber knives and adventurer Bear Grylls is a combination that is familiar not only to TV viewers who enjoy survival shows and lots of adrenaline on screen, but also to those who prefer to experience such adrenaline themselves.
