The R2 VEGA MTBs were conceived as racing trunks, but they were not created just for wild cross country entries. As a result, it's a shoe that has the stiffness for powerful pedaling, but still provides as much comfort as you need for a normal cross-country ride.
The sole itself deserves some attention - it's made up of nylon fibers combined with rubber segments for excellent traction. Grooves between the rubber segments of the sole allow for self-cleaning, and you can also take advantage of the ready-made holes in the toe of the sole to mount two spikes for pushing through tough terrain even after dismounting.
And the aforementioned comfort? The easy-care perforated surface ensures an ideal climate in the trinket, which can be tightened to the foot in detail thanks to the innovative DIAL clamping system.
