The Source Tube Kit + Filter - Blue lets you drink clean water in the field with the built-in Sawyer Mini Filter. As water passes through the side walls of the microfiber filter tubes, harmful bacteria and protozoa are trapped in the outer walls, so you can be sure it's safe to drink.
The tubes connect to most hydration systems. So if you have a reservoir, you can connect the kit presented and have potable water. The filter will retain 99.99% of harmful bacteria and protozoa found in the water you draw from during your trip.
Sawyer filters can be flushed and reused repeatedly. No replacement cartridges are needed. The mode requires no chemicals or batteries.
The Source Tube Kit + Filter - Blue comes with a special Helix™ bite valve that is cylindrical in shape and designed to minimize the risk of water leakage. The Helix™ Bite Valve mouthpiece used allows for easy drinking.
