The Team30 Disc series brings an affordable semi-aero wheelset for the latest generation of disc brake equipped bikes. The design is very similar to the Team30 for rim brakes, with 30mm deep aluminum rims and CNC machined hubs with sealed bearings.
Disc brakes put a completely different load on the wheels than rim brakes, which is why the Team30 Disc is reinforced with more spokes - 24 in the front and 24 in the rear. The spoke crossover is designed with a double crossover at the front and a combination of double and triple crossover at the rear to handle the torque transfer requirements of disc brakes.
