The Taiss Neck Gaiter from Mammut is a technical piece of gear for when the icy north wind hits you on the ridge. It protects your neck and face from the cold without overheating during a tough climb, and its ergonomic design perfectly follows the contours of your body. It is suitable for ski mountaineering, ice climbing and intense winter hiking.
It is made of a highly functional blend of Polartec® PowerStretch® with a polyamide component, which guarantees long-lasting durability even during intensive use. The internal structure of the fabric actively wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping you dry even during maximum exertion. The gaiter fits neatly under the collar of a membrane jacket and takes up hardly any space in your backpack.
- Perfect thermal protection without overheating
The Polartec® Power Stretch® fabric with 4-way stretchability actively wicks sweat away from the body, dries quickly and retains its shape for a long time, keeping you warm and dry throughout the entire tour. - Comfort and durability for demanding conditions
The polyamide content in the fabric makes the gaiter resistant to mechanical stress, while the flat seams and ultra-lightweight design ensure that it doesn’t press anywhere under your other clothing.
