Tecnica AST (Adaptive Shape Technology) technology combines a number of advanced technical solutions. By combining adaptive memory EVA foams of varying densities with pre-shaped thermoplastic insoles and Ortholite footbeds, we provide a unique anatomical underfoot construction that adapts to the shape of your foot.

The Edge Frame outsole is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and we insert it into the core of the shoe to make it rigid and add support while climbing, while allowing the shoe to flex freely where needed.

Result: climbing performance combines with hiking comfort. Longitudinal elements promote stiffness and torsional rigidity in the toe and midfoot area. The cut-out transverse layout allows for greater flex in the metatarsal area.

The Sulfur midsole is specifically designed to have two areas of varying density: a higher density area from the midfoot to the toe, and a lower density area under the heel. The higher-density EVA provides torsional rigidity and flexural stability - giving Edge Frame technology additional support.

The Vibram® Megagrip™ outsole offers unparalleled grip on dry and wet surfaces. This compound is best-in-class in terms of durability and terrain adaptation.

In the center of the Vibram® sole, under the arch of the foot, is a rubber arch gripper. This gives the shoe additional technical performance. The specific shape of its ''teeth'' provides better grip on slippery ridges and elevated edges, as well as on via ferrata rungs and ladders.

The Sulfur is a fast boarding shoe with an anatomical, wrap-around shape and good support and comfort for endurance. It delivers grip, precision and climbing performance on technical terrain.

1. The climbing lacing system supports wrapping in the forefoot and toe area and allows extremely fast and precise lacing adjustments.
2. The midsole is specially designed with two different densities. It uses a softer EVA compound in the heel area - to provide more cushioning and adaptability to the terrain. This ensures optimal walking comfort.
3. The profile of the midsole and rocker sole has a precisely defined shape that promotes a smoother transition from heel to toe. This allows you to go longer distances with a higher level of comfort.
4. The multi-directional lug pattern is ready for different terrains and changing conditions.
5. The Sulfur outsole has a flat climbing zone at the toe. Designed for climbing, this special feature provides advanced precision, toe and edge strength on slabs, ledges and edges, making it an ideal choice for steeper walls.
6. The Sulfur model features a sturdy back loop that helps pull the shoe in. It also allows for quick and secure attachment to the back of the seat post.
