Snowboard jackets

A snowboard jacket is essential mountain gear. Unlike regular winter jackets, it features a relaxed cut for unrestricted movement, extended back coverage and crucially, technical specifications – a waterproof membrane and taped seams that keep you dry even after a tumble in the snow.

When choosing, pay attention to water column rating (ideally 10,000 mm or higher), breathability and practical details: snow skirt to keep snow out, underarm ventilation zips and ski pass pocket. For extreme cold, insulated models are ideal, whilst lighter jackets with layering work better for spring riding.
