Using the Smart 2.0 for belaying significantly increases your safety. Ingeniously simple design without moving cams or joints. Sophisticated cutouts in the body of the belay device , together with the HMS carabiner, form the self-locking mechanism itself. This makes the belay device pleasantly small and lightweight, yet reliable.

WARNING!!
The belayer must always maintain control of the belay rope. When lowering, pressing the lever upward releases the rope, and the descent proceeds similarly to, for example, a bucket. The advantage is that the rope constantly passes through the palm, so it remains under control at all times.
