The Slash 9.9 X0 AXS T-Type is the ultimate carbon enduro mountain bike that'll take on anything. The OCLV carbon mountain bike frame with 170mm of suspension travel and a high-mounted pivot ensures optimal contact with the surface on rocks, wallrides and steep climbs. The 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel allow for nimble handling, and the quality RockShox suspension kit can handle anything you throw at it. Another plus is the SRAM X0 AXS wireless drivetrain, which shifts accurately even in the bite.

You want the best carbon enduro bike available and you're not going to skimp on components. You need a machine that handles descents left-rear, is nimble enough on climbs, and has great traction and stability thanks to its high-pin suspension. You won't get a bump without a lot of travel, but you'd be happy to pedal well uphill too.

  1. High-pin suspension makes the bike wonderfully sure-footed even in scary downhill passages. Carefully tuned anti-squat combined with large pulleys ensures exceptional pedaling efficiency.
  2. The large 170 mm of travel in the front and rear can handle huge jumps and rocky sections.
  3. The OCLV carbon mountain bike frame and wheels deliver light weight, stiffness only where it's needed, and a smooth, quiet ride over rough terrain.
  4. Basic features include a fast 29-inch wheel up front and a stiff yet nimble 27.5-inch wheel in the rear. If you're all about speed, you can also get a 29-inch wheel in the rear.
  5. You can customize the Slash models to suit how and where you ride. You can work with the damping curve, the lower shock mount (if you want a 29-inch wheel in the rear as well), and the head tube angle (necessary parts sold separately).

For those who settle for the best, the Slash 9.9 X0 AXS T-Type will be a dream come true. With 170mm of travel front and rear, premium suspension, a great drivetrain and carbon wheels, you can tackle climbs with ease and charge downhill at full throttle.

Suspension with high-mounted pivot
Thanks to the high-positioned main pivot, the rear axle moves backwards when the shock is compressed, so that when the rear wheel hits an obstacle, it moves in the direction of the applied force and avoids it faster. In practice, this means an exceptionally smooth and more dynamic ride with maximum contact with the surface.

Backlash Controlled
The larger upper guide pulley eliminates pedal kickback that would otherwise occur due to the pivot being positioned higher. Its placement and dimensions were chosen to minimize wheel wobble when pedaling. The lower guide pulley minimizes shifting tension and provides smoother shifting and suspension action.

Bike Size Combination
Standard equipment includes a 29-inch wheel up front that will go over anything like a monster truck, and a smaller 27.5-inch wheel in the rear to get you rolling in the terrain. Do you care about speed and would you like a purebred 29er? Simply replace the bottom shock mount (sold separately), and this will move the center of the wheel lower to accommodate the 29-inch wheel in the back.

Improved storage in frame
The storage door is larger and easier to handle. Plus, all plastic parts are made from recycled materials.

Adjust suspension to suit the terrain
Adjust stroke ratio with the flip of a switch. The less progressive setting is more compliant and ideal for rough trails with steep jumps. The more progressive setting is then suitable for bigger jumps when you want to use the full stroke or want to use a spring damper.

Slope to suit you
Pans (sold separately) can be used to adjust the head angle. This way the head tube angle can be made more perpendicular or more reclined as required without affecting the height of the centre fold.

Size-specific chain stays
Size-specific chain stays ensure balanced handling. For riders of smaller stature, it offers a nimble ride. For larger riders, they improve front wheel traction and make climbing easier.

Protection and silence in one
We've thought out the chainstay cover down to the last detail. It minimizes chain movement and takes care of an exceptionally quiet ride. Removable down tube guards resist the impact of stones. There's even another solid layer of Integrated Carbon Armor underneath the paint.
