An all-encompassing protective layer, Meninx, protects the central nervous system, as is the case with classic ski helmets. The simple appearance belies the elaborate and advanced protection offered. The lightweight helmet features an ABS shell and liner with EPS and EPP sections that provide the ultimate balance of protection, weight and comfort. Two-stage removable ear padding works in concert with the helmet's discrete ventilation channels for optimal temperature regulation. The addition of a Fidlock® buckle on the chinstrap under the chin ensures the helmet is easy to fasten while wearing gloves.
The clean and simple look inspired by classic racing helmets belies the elaborate protection offered.

Two-Stage Removable Earmuffs - It's easy to adjust the amount of ear coverage or remove the padding completely for a more open feel.
Adjustable Ventilation - A usable slide adjuster in the front of the helmet provides complete control over ventilation.
Fidlock® cutout is easy to open to assess in gloves.

POC is a Swedish company with a strong mission to do the best we can to save lives and reduce the consequences of accidents for athletes and cyclists.
POC was founded in 2005 and first entered the market at ISPO, where it also presented its mission. POC's new ideas and solutions to improve the safety of ski racing by reducing the force transmitted to the brain and body in the event of an accident have received a lot of attention.
The concepts, technologies and materials used and implemented for the helmets and pads were developed in close collaboration with the POC Lab; POC's scientific forum comprising the world's leading sports medicine experts, brain scientists and spinal cord injury specialists.
