Alugator Light by Mammut is the lightest avalanche shovel. It weighs less than a small coke and fits in any small day pack. The shovel has a T-handle and a telescopic oval handle that can be adjusted to a working position with a length of 75 cm. The sturdy blade can also handle packed snow and the holes in it can be used for anchor and sledge construction.
