Stay Guard is a low-profile replacement guard that uses a very soft silicone rubber with a tapered rib design to absorb chain shock and associated noise. Works great on its own or in conjunction with our shock absorbers for the ultimate quiet ride!
The tapered rib construction flexes and absorbs impact forces and noise from the chain. Can be used alone or in conjunction with our damping modules for the ultimate chain-less ride.
- Easy to install and compatible with most frames.
- Long enough to cover the top of the chainstay, part of the seatstay and even part of the bottom of the chainstay.

Dimensions: 400 mm length x 56 mm width x 12 mm height.
Uses a high quality 3M adhesive - if your heel rubs against the chainstay when pedalling, we recommend adding a few tightening strips in this area, otherwise the protector may start to lift over time.
STFU Bike is a collaboration between two Australian friends living in Whistler, Canada. Chris Kovarik is a multiple downhill World Cup winner, still holding the largest winning margin in DH racing history at 14 seconds against 2nd place Cedric Gracia in Fort William in 2002. Chris has been testing his bikes and equipment and continues to do so.
After many years of fine-tuning his machines, he began looking for ways to eliminate noise. After 7 years of experimentation, the idea for our STFU device was born. One 3D printer, a bunch of CAD and prototypes, 2 seasons at Whistler bike park and this is the end result. The ultimate gadget that stops chain chatter and turns your bike into a silent bike.
