Climbing is not just a sport. It’s a way of life. As soon as you wake up, you’re already thinking: Will the rocks be dry? Where am I going? With this spacious Rab climbing backpack, you can carry all your gear comfortably to the base of the wall.
The contoured foam back panel transfers part of the load to the hips, so even a long approach doesn’t become too much of a burden. You can then place the backpack almost anywhere under the rock, thanks to the durable material, which can withstand a lot.
The guide remains easily accessible in the separate top pocket. And as soon as you unfold the back panel, you can rummage through the material and hang up the gear you need for the route.
- TRI-FLEX™ is a back system that transfers the weight of the load to the lumbar region with the help of an internal spring steel frame. The contoured back panel fits snugly to the body and repels snow.

The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.
But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cool, breezy evenings around a campfire.
