The Advanced Composite carbon frame and Advanced SL Composite fork combine to deliver low weight, high efficiency, and perfect handling. A two-position flip chip system located in the rear dropouts allows you to adjust the wheelbase: short for faster handling or long for more tire clearance (up to 53 mm) and greater stability. The frame also allows you to choose the type of seatpost, so you can use either the Giant D-Fuse seatpost for greater comfort or a standard round (i.e., telescopic) 30.9 mm seatpost.

Advanced Composite Technology
In our own carbon processing factory, we use high-quality raw carbon with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio to produce custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and cured in a mold as a single continuous piece (monocoque) using a patented manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

Flip Chip rear dropouts
The flip chip system consists of eccentric two-position inserts in the rear dropouts of the frame, which allow you to easily change the wheelbase. A shorter wheelbase makes the bike more agile, while a longer wheelbase improves stability at higher speeds and increases rear tire clearance (up to 53 mm). For more information, see the link below.

Giant Tubeless System
Fewer flats. Better tire grip. Less rolling resistance, more comfortable and faster riding. With Giant's tubeless system, you can enjoy all these benefits. The rims come with tubeless tape and valves already installed, so all you need to do is apply sealant and your wheels are ready for tubeless riding.

PowerCore
The massive oversized bottom bracket and rear triangle feature a fully integrated 86.5 mm bottom bracket design (92 mm on MTB bikes). The asymmetrical rear triangle provides greater stiffness on the chain side and better stability on the opposite side.

OverDrive
The oversized front fork steerer tube is designed to increase the stiffness of the front end of the frame set and steering for precise bike control. It includes oversize headset bearings (1 1/4" bottom and 1 1/8" top for road bikes and 1 1/2" bottom and 1 1/8" top for MTB bikes) and a tapered fork steerer tube for optimal steering stiffness.

MegaDrive
The massive rectangular down tube and oversized top tube form a unit that provides excellent lateral and torsional stiffness in the front of the frame. The result is precise steering and tracking. The intricately designed rectangular down tube provides unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.

D-Fuse Technology
The D-Fuse seatpost and handlebars work together as a system to dampen vibrations and absorb shocks from various riding surfaces for a more comfortable and efficient ride. Thanks to their specific "D" shape, the seatpost and handlebars flex slightly under load without compromising stiffness when cornering, climbing, or riding out of the saddle.

Compact Road Design
When Giant collaborated with the ONCE professional racing team in the 1990s to introduce a completely new road bike design called Compact Road, it forever changed the look and feel of racing and performance road bikes. The angled top tube (from the head tube to the seat tube) creates a smaller front and rear triangle, resulting in a lighter and stiffer bike. Another advantage of Compact Road geometry is that it makes it easier for riders to achieve the ideal riding position.

The frame has lower seat stays with a smaller diameter for even better shock and vibration absorption. The D-Fuse SLR carbon seatpost and Contact SLR XR D-Fuse carbon handlebars also contribute to greater comfort and reduced fatigue on rough roads or long distances – both work together as a system and flex slightly under load, without compromising stiffness when cornering, climbing, or riding out of the saddle. Internally routed cables offer a clean and aesthetic cockpit appearance and improved aerodynamic performance. Easily accessible storage space in the down tube allows you to safely carry tools, nutrition, and other essentials. Additional integrated mounts on the top tube, fork, and rear triangle make it easy to install bags or fenders. All-new, specially shaped frame protection (under the chain and on the down tube) helps protect the frame from impacts and also dampens noise.

Founded in 1972, Giant is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the world.

Giant is the world's leading brand of high quality bicycles and cycling equipment. As part of the Giant Group, founded in 1972, the Giant brand combines craftsmanship, advanced technology and innovative design.

Giant has long been one of the leading innovators in cycling. They introduced lighter and stronger aluminium frames at a time when steel was the industry standard. They were the first to make carbon fibre bikes widely available to the world. They defined modern road bike design with Compact Road geometry. And the patented Maestro suspension revolutionized the full-suspension bike segment.

WeightUnfortunately, there is no standard for weighing bikes that all manufacturers adhere to, and the weights listed are often inaccurate. To find out the exact weight of a bike in a given size, you need to have the bike weighed at the store, as well as a model from a competing brand – this is the only way to get accurate figures for weight comparison.
