The Varianta LA or light action differs from the standard version with an extended lever that reduces the effort involved. Whether you want super-fine precision, your seatpost requires more force on the standard lever to open, you have weak or injured fingers, or a delicate lady's hand, this lever can solve it all.

The paddle's contoured surface won't let your finger slip, even if silicone rains from the sky. The lever is definitely not one of the cheapest, so thought has been given to saving it in the event of a fall. The crash/crash friendly design makes it so that only the connecting screw breaks off and not the entire lever.
