With the VDO R3 WL wireless computer, you can always keep track of all the important data from your ride during your mountain rides, training or just on the way to the office.
The VDO R3 WL waterproof computer displays instantaneous speed, daily and total distance, total and current ride time, clock, average and maximum speed, instantaneous and average speed comparison and temperature. In addition, the computer has an integrated barometric altitude measurement and can be used on two wheels.
You also have the option to track your personal statistics for the last 12 months. Thanks to the integrated backlight, the display is easy to read even in the dark. Adjusting the circumference of the bike is another easy matter, as you can choose from the integrated tire chart.
The handlebar mount for the waterproof computer can be quickly mounted on the bike using the included drawstrings. The computer can then be easily removed and stored, protecting it from possible theft. Wireless data transmission is provided by a digital transmitter that is mounted on the bike fork.
The battery (CR2450) is sufficient to power the computer for more than two years. By pairing the VDO R3WL computer with the optional cadence transmitter, you have the ability to keep an eye on your cadence at all times.

The history of the VDO brand dates back to Germany and 1929, when it began to develop and manufacture automotive mechatronics and electronics, and eventually branched out into the bicycle industry. In late 2022, VDO introduced a brand new line of bike computers called the R Series, which includes five models, two of which use GPS signals.
VDO R Series
With its diverse features, the new R Series models support cyclists of all categories - from casual cyclists to e-bike riders to performance riders.The basic R1 and R2 models are available in both wireless and wired versions, while the R3 model, equipped with altitude measurement, is only offered in the wireless version. The VDO R4 and R5 models belong to the category of "smart" cycling computers - they use GPS signal and offer a wide range of functions, including connection with a smartphone app. -
