  • With the VDO R2 WR wired computer, you always have an overview of the ten most important values of your ride on the way to the office, at training or on a weekend ride. The R2 WR computer displays instantaneous speed, daily distance travelled, ride time, hours, average and maximum speed, total distance and ride time, as well as the current temperature.

    It also compares average and actual speed. This motivates you to drive faster and break your own speed records. Setting up and operating the R2 WR is super easy with the red menu button. Adjusting the circumference of the bike is another easy matter as you can choose from the integrated tire chart.

    The handlebar mount for the waterproof computer can be quickly mounted to the bike using the included drawstrings. The computer can then be easily removed and stored, protecting it from possible theft.

    The wired connection between the transmitter and computer ensures smooth and seamless speed measurement. The battery (CR2032) is sufficient to power the computer for more than two years.

  • The history of the VDO brand dates back to Germany and 1929, when it began to develop and manufacture automotive mechatronics and electronics, and eventually branched out into the bicycle industry. In late 2022, VDO introduced a brand new line of bike computers called the R Series, which includes five models, two of which use GPS signals.
