Piu 2.0 is a new generation bucket specifically designed for the popular thinner rope generation. When bending the rope over the belay edge of the bucket, the notches help the belayer to get a better grip, which increases the braking efficiency of the rope especially in thinner diameters. The CAMP PIU 2.0 bucket allows the bucket to be turned into auto-locking mode - thanks to the large hole by which the bucket can be snapped to the shield with the carabiner. If you need to release the belay in auto-locking mode, just hook another carabiner (e.g. CAMP HMS Nitro or CAMP HMS Core Lock) behind the front hole, which is designed just to slowly release the rope under load.
