The updated version of the popular Parker jacket features a lightweight, double-layer laminate with a hydrophilic Gelanots membrane from Japanese manufacturer Toyota. All seams are taped, so it will protect you from rain, wind, and tough climbs.

Exposed areas like the shoulders, forearms, and waist are made of a more durable fabric, while the exterior pockets have waterproof YKK zippers and are large enough for comfortable use even with gloves.

At the same time, the pocket placement makes it easy to use even when wearing a pack or pack saddle. Material changes make this jacket 35% lighter than its predecessor (weight size M - 530 g).

Gelanots membrane
The Gelanots laminated fabric has a water column of 20,000 mm and a breathability of 25,000 g H2O/m2. This can be easily explained by the fact that if you kneel down in the mud, for example, assuming a contact area of 10 cm2, you can weigh 200 kg and the membrane will not leak. The two-layer laminate then means that the membrane is laminated on the top fabric and protected from mechanical damage on the inside by a lightweight mesh lining.
