FENIX PD35R - rechargeable flashlight

The Fenix PD35R rechargeable tactical flashlight delivers up to 1700 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 353 meters. Excellent light output has been achieved using LEDLuminus SFT-40. The flashlight is powered by a Li-ion 18650 3400 mAh battery (included), which is charged directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector.

The Fenix PD35R LED flashlight uses a dual tactical switch that allows for faster and more reliable control in crisis situations. For example, it can be quickly switched directly into strobe mode. The flashlight head is equipped with a striking rim. Therefore, the flashlight can be used to break through glass in crisis situations or for self-defense.

The Fenix PD35R has six different modes, allowing you to choose between high power and long life, which reaches up to 100 hours. One of the light modes is a variable frequency strobe.

The robust design and compatibility with the Fenix AER-02 cable switch allows the flashlight to be used on long guns, making it suitable not only for outdoor enthusiasts, but also for professionals, armed forces and hunting.

All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shockproof) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Luminous flux and runtimes are measured with a 3400mAh Fenix 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery (included). Due to the mechanical reverse polarity protection, the battery must have the plus terminal sticking out. Therefore, older Fenix batteries with flat plus pole cannot be used.

1. Power: one 18650 Li-ion battery. Two disposable CR123A batteries can be used for emergency use, but the maximum output will be limited to 1000 lumens.

Use
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.
To turn on/off press the larger tactical button located on the end of the flashlight, press the button for immediate activation. Press the adjacent toggle button to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to flash mode with the flashlight on, hold the toggle button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To switch the flashlight directly into strobe mode, press and hold the switch button.
Intelligent overheat protection- If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the power will be automatically reduced. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the highest power can be used again.
Battery charge indication- The flashlight always indicates the battery charge level three seconds after switching on. Green indicates sufficient state of charge (100% - 85%), flashing green (85% - 50%), steady red (50% - 25%) and flashing red critically low battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is low, the flashlight will automatically switch to lower power modes, then flash 3 times every five minutes in the lowest mode.
Charging - remove the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the flashlight and plug in the included cable (USB-C connector), plug the other end of the cable into a computer or USB adapter to the mains or car. The side indicator lights red while charging. When fully charged, it will light up green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 3 hours. The flashlight cannot be used while charging.
Discharged Battery Warning - the flashlight will gradually switch to the lowest mode automatically.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the flashlight head yourself, it will violate the warranty.
Use only a high quality 18650 Li-ion battery or 3V CR123A battery to avoid damaging the flashlight.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to higher modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are almost dead - charge the battery or replace it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
- The head, body or back of the flashlight is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the end of the flashlight firmly.
