The Old Skool was our first shoe design to feature the famous Vans Sidestripe, although back then it was just a simple doodle drawn by founder Paul Van Doren.
Since its debut in 1977, this low-top silhouette has established itself as an icon of the skate, music, and fashion scenes. From the street skaters and punks of the ’90s to today’s hip-hop and fashion legends, the Old Skool remains the shoe of choice for creatives who do things their own way.
