Thanks to side cranks taken from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other model.

The center tread has leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition as the wheel tilts. Paddle-shaped spikes on the center tread cut into the ground during hard braking to help keep the bike under control.

Pair with the Minion DHF front tire for the perfect combination for aggressive trail riding! The Minion DHF tire is available in trail, enduro and downhill specifications.

TUBELESS READY
Tubless tires provide many benefits to the rider: the ability to use lower air pressure, which improves traction, lower rolling resistance compared to tubed tires, and less chance of a flat because no tube is used. Tubeless tires are marked with the letters "TR" on the sidewall.
Tubless tires must be mounted on rims compatible with tubeless tires and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the added advantage of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check the sealant periodically and renew it as needed, as it will dry out over time.
Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tires: tubeless road, tubeless and ready-to-use tubeless. Use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will void the warranty.

DOUBLE DOWN (DD)
DoubleDown (DD) is our tire solution for enduro racing and electric bike use. Two layers of our lightweight 120 TPI tire material are combined with a butyl side liner to create a highly durable tire with more trail feedback than a downhill tire. DoubleDown tires are slightly lighter than their downhill counterparts, but what really sets them apart is the difference in "trail feel". Some riders may prefer the highly dampened ride that downhill tires provide.
