The new Lurra is a bike that you can have a lot of fun off-road without rear suspension. It brings modern trail geometry, 130 mm front travel and of course a telescopic seatpost. Both 27.5" and 29" wheel sizes are available - the smallest XS size has 27.5" wheels, the S size is offered with both sizes, and the M and L sizes have 29" wheels.

The Lurra is built on an ALUXX SL aluminium frame with modern geometry - the higher fork position (66° head angle) brings better handling on descents and technical passages. On the other hand, you'll appreciate the steeper seat angle in the climbs, which puts you in the right position to tackle steep descents easily and efficiently. The shorter rear structure makes the bike playful and easy to handle.

ALUXX Aluminum Technology The performance-focused frame material features a 6061 alloy with single reinforced tubing. It is used to produce strong and lightweight framesets for a variety of bike types and riding styles.
	Giant tubeless system Fewer flats. Better tire grip. Less rolling resistance, more comfortable and faster ride. With Giant's tubeless system, you can enjoy all these benefits. The rims come with tubeless tape and valves from the factory, so all you have to do is apply sealant and your wheels are fully ready for tubeless.
PowerCore The massive oversized centerfold and rear build area features a fully integrated 86.5mm wide centerfold design (92mm wide on MTB bikes). The asymmetrical rear construction provides increased stiffness on the chainstay side and improved stability on the opposite side.
	Overdrive The oversize front fork post technology is designed to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise bike handling. It includes oversize headset bearings (lower 1 1/4" and upper 1 1/8" on road bikes and lower 1 1/2" and upper 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and a tapered fork post for optimal steering stiffness.

Frame geometry is fully optimized for either smaller 27.5" bikes (sizes XS and S) or larger 29" bikes (sizes S, M, L). With the smaller wheels you can expect a perfectly balanced ride and excellent bike handling. If you choose the 29" wheels, negotiating bumps like roots or rocky passages will be more confident and quicker, as the larger wheels roll over obstacles more easily.

The front suspension is provided by a Giant Crest 34 air fork with 130mm travel, which will iron out large and small bumps with sensitivity. A telescopic seatpost will come in handy on descents, and wider tyres will also give you more confidence. Of course, it's ready for tubeless operation - modern tubeless technology delivers better handling (thanks to lower tire pressure) and also reduces the risk of punctures.
