The Latex inner tube is designed for racing use or for the demanding user who wants to get the best out of the riding characteristics of a racing tyre and not degrade it by using a regular butyl inner tube.
That's why Challenge offers this inner tube with their handmade high TPI tires, and more, to promote maximum performance, roll and comfort. It is an alternative for cyclists who, for whatever reason, do not prefer to use a tire with a puncture resistant sealant.
Latex inner tubes are lighter and more puncture resistant, but they are also thinner and require more frequent pressure checks, which should be a given before any training session by a seasoned amateur or professional.
