ALUXX SL Aluminum Technology

PowerCore
The massive oversized centerfold and rear construction area features a fully integrated 86.5mm wide centerfold design (92mm wide on MTB bikes). The asymmetrical rear construction provides increased stiffness on the chainstay side and improved stability on the opposite side.

Overdrive
The oversize front fork post technology is designed to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise bike handling. It includes oversize headset bearings (lower 1 1/4" and upper 1 1/8" on road bikes and lower 1 1/2" and upper 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and a tapered fork post for optimal steering stiffness.

Maestro Suspension
Four strategically placed pivots and two wishbones combine to create one virtual (floating) center of rotation for the rear structure. This neutralises the effect of the rear brake and makes the system fully active and highly responsive to all types of bumps, without unwanted swaying when pedalling.

Flip Chip
The flip chip system allows you to quickly adjust the geometry of a Maestro suspension-equipped mountain bike to better suit your preferred terrain type or riding style. This is done by using the eccentric (offset, two-position ) inserts located in the upper arm of the Maestro suspension, and by turning them, you change primarily the angle of the head and seat tubes and the height of the centre of the pedal.
