XLC are ultra-light 12-pronged aluminium crampons with automatic (quick release) clamping, suitable for VHT, glacier hiking or ski mountaineering. The automatic clamping is suitable for all fixed boots with a prepared groove on the toe and heel.

The XLC crampons are not suitable for ice climbing, mixes or other technical climbing.
