The American company Eagle Nest Outfitters, ENO for short, was founded in 1999 in Florida. Its founders initially planned to drive around music festivals in a small van and sell their hammocks to visitors. The growth of what was at first a small business that fit into a few boxes spelled the end of the nomadic life. The company settled in Asheville, North Carolina, where it now exports its products around the world.
