FENIX HM61R Amber V2.0 - rechargeable headlamp

The new generation Fenix HM61R Amber V2.0 rechargeable headlamp offers up to 1600 lumens (ANSI) of neutral white light (4500K) with a range of up to 162 meters. It is also equipped with red LED Everlights. It is powered by a single rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which is recharged directly in the flashlight via a magnetic connector; two disposable CR123A lithium batteries can also be used for emergency power.

In addition, the battery has a built-in USB-C connector so it can be easily charged outside the headlamp without the magnetic cable. There is a built-in indication LED in the control button so you will always know when to recharge the battery. The flashlight's end is magnetic so it can easily be attached to anything metal.

TheHM61R Amber V2.0 features eight different lighting modes, allowing you to choose between high power and long life (up to 400 hours). The flashlight is powered by a digitally controlled constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the battery voltage is reduced (when the battery is slowly discharging).

The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to IP68 standard up to 2 meters underwater. The practicality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to remove the light from the head holder and use it as a pocket or work torch.

Version HM61R Amber V2.0 is specially adapted for the Czech and Slovak market, it differs from the standard version in the following points:

1. The battery developed for us is equipped with its own USB-C connector.
2. The diode has a neutral shade of light instead of cold.
3. The high mode has an output of 400 lumens. The high mode battery life is longer than the standard HM61R V2.0.
4. The stronger red light has a maximum output of up to 10 lumens.
5. Memory for the last red light mode.
6. Switches to white light when unlocked.

1. All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shockproof) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.
2. A premium performance Luminus SST-40 LED with a neutral light tint (4500 K) and a lifetime of 50,000 hours and two red Everlight LEDs are used.

Use
From the factory, there may be a black insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.
- Turn the headlamp off to the last used white light mode (except for the highest white light mode of 1600 lumens) by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
- Turn the headlamp off to the last used red light mode by pressing the button twice quickly.
- A switched on headlamp is switched off by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
While the headlamp is switched on, the power modes can be cycled through in the order of 5 - 50 - 150 - 400 - 1600 lumens (when switched on to white light) or red 1 lumen - red 10 lumens - red flash (when switched on to red light) with short button presses. The torch has a memory and will always switch on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light, except for the highest white light mode of 1600 lumens).
Switching between colors: When the headlamp is on, it can be switched between white and red light by holding the side button for 1.2 seconds.
Overheat protection: When using the flashlight on high power modes for a long time, a large amount of heat will accumulate. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 65°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the power to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 65 °C, it will then allow the user to select high modes again.
Battery charge status indication: When the headlamp is turned off, one short press of the button will turn on the battery charge status indication for 3 seconds, which is shown by the colored backlight of the button:
- Constant green: 100% - 85%
- Green flashing: 85% - 50%
- Constant red: 50% - 25%
- Red flashing: 25% or less (recharge the headlamp as soon as possible)
The indication is only active with a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 battery.

Charging:
Plug the charging cable into the USB connector of your computer, USB mains adapter or car. Attach the cable to the charging plate on the headlamp, it will attach itself with magnets. During charging the indicator light in the button is red, when charging is complete it turns green. All red light modes and all white light modes except the highest can be used during charging. The charging time will be adequately extended. Charging a fully discharged Fenix ARB-L18-3400U V2.0 battery takes approximately 4 hours.

Discharged Battery Warning:
If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to lower power modes. If this occurs during Low Power, the battery charge indicator will flash to remind you to recharge or replace the battery in a timely manner. Note: This feature is only active with a rechargeable Li-ion 18650 battery pack.

Lock the headlamp against accidental switching on:
When the headlamp is off, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds, the flashlight will flash four times in red mode to indicate the locked state. Unlocking: when the headlamp is locked, press the switch for 3 seconds, the flashlight will flash four times in red to activate the Eco white light mode. When the headlamp is locked, it will flash four times when the switches are clicked or pressed briefly to indicate the locked state. Unintentional switching on in luggage can also be prevented by loosening the headlamp battery cap a quarter turn, this breaks the electrical contact and the headlamp cannot be switched on.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the head of the flashlight yourself, this will breach the warranty.
If using a disposable CR123A battery, do not attempt to charge it in the flashlight.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost dead - charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The back of the flashlight is loose - tighten it.
