Halo Hot Wax is the chain wax for those who don't want to compromise. The bag of wax is boiled in hot water, the chain is dipped into it and left to dry. The reward for the more demanding application is unrivalled chain performance with no dirt sticking to the chain, low friction and, most importantly, high mileage per wax application. A full bag lasts for approximately 25 applications.

Three high quality ingredients provide superior results:
Highly refined paraffin creates a robust, dry-to-the-touch coating that repels water, removes abrasive, friction-causing contaminants and virtually eliminates chain stains.
Shperical Tungsten has a patented hollow core that reduces vibration friction caused by high-torque pedaling. The micron and spherical shape helps reduce sliding friction by creating a rolling effect on the chain surface.
Boron nitride ceramic plates cover the chain and create a protective non-stick coating. This ceramic coating works synergistically with spherical tungsten to reduce wear and help extend the life of expensive drivetrain components.
Instructions for use:
Disconnect the chain. Clean and dry the chain completely before first use.
To melt the wax pellets, place the HALO bag in a pot of water and bring the water to a gentle boil (80-90°C).
Thread the chain onto the Immersion Tool supplied in the HOT WAX bag. Scan the QR code for best technique.
Once the wax pellets are completely melted, remove the bag and place on a covered work surface.
Use the Immersion Tool to dip the chain into the melted wax.
Leave the chain in the wax for at least 3 minutes to ensure complete penetration into the chain sleeves.
Remove the chain from the bag and hang until completely dry (approximately 30 minutes). Caution: hot wax will drip from the chain.
Once dry, move the chain around before putting it back on the bike. Excess wax will fall off the chain.
Maintenance:
Keep the maximum temperature below 104 °C. Do not use an oven or microwave to melt the wax. Avoid exposure to open flame. Wear gloves and goggles. If it is necessary to remove old wax from the chain, use boiling water to remove it.
