The GOBLIN mobile fall arrester represents a significant step forward in safety when working at heights. It is designed for use with 10-11 mm diameter static rope. The shape of the cam ensures smooth movement on the rope, both during ascent and rappelling. Adding to the user's comfort is the use of the CAMP Rope Surfer plastic sleeve, fitted on one of two types of CAMP Goblin Lanyard or Goblin Rope Lanyard (not included).When catching a fall, the rope is loaded much more gently than with mechanisms equipped with teeth, thanks to a very short slip that (without the need for a fall damper) reduces the impact force (the force acting on the user's body at the moment of catching the fall) to half the values common with other devices. Switching between output and salting is very simple and is done at the push of a button. The forged stainless steel cam and other mechanical parts, combined with solid aluminium alloy sidewalls, guarantee exceptional durability and product longevity.
