OUTDOOR10
The Fenix GL30R is a tactical rechargeable LED torch designed specifically for mounting on long guns, intended for professionals, armed forces, sports shooters and hunters. Thanks to the top-tier Luminus SFT-12R LED, it delivers 800 lumens with a beam distance of up to 630 metres, making it a reliable partner even in the most demanding conditions.
The torch is powered by a 3400 mAh 18650 Li-ion rechargeable battery, which can be conveniently recharged directly in the torch via the multifunction USB-C port – alternatively, two disposable CR123A batteries can be used. All parameters are measured according to the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard, so the stated values correspond to real performance.
Package contents: Fenix GL30R torch, ARB-L18-3400 battery, GL30R IN-LINE M1913 mount (straight), GL30R OFFSET M1913 mount (side), GL30R OFFSET M-Lok mount (side), AER-07 tactical remote switch, AER-07 M1913 mount (left and right), plate for AER-07 M-Lok rail, spare screws and M-Lok nuts, Allen key, USB-C charging cable, spare O-ring and manual.
Warranty: five years for the torch. Two years for the battery and remote switch.
- Maximum flexibility for weapon mounting
The torch comes with a complete set of mounts for both Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 rails and the M-Lok system, with each standard supporting both an in-line (straight) and an offset position, so it can be adapted without compromise to virtually any weapon and the shooter’s individual preferences. - Versatile control with remote switch
In addition to the tactical tail switch on the torch body, the package includes the AER-07 wired remote switch, which connects to the USB-C port and offers both a push-button constant-on and a momentary silent pressure switch – it also features a locking slider to prevent accidental activation, significantly increasing safety during use.

Operating the Fenix GL30R torch
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap on the battery inside the torch. Before first use, remove it from the battery.
The torch can be operated either with its tactical tail switch on the body, or with the supplied AER-07 remote pressure switch. Note: If you switch the torch on with one of the switches, it cannot be switched off with the other.
Tail switch operation: For constant light, press the switch fully (until it clicks). For momentary on, half-press and hold the switch. The torch turns off when released.
AER-07 remote switch operation: Connect the switch to the USB-C port and secure the connector by turning it. The switch has two buttons and a locking slider (to prevent accidental activation). With one click of the push-button switch, you turn the torch on/off continuously. By pressing and holding the silent pressure switch, you activate the torch momentarily (it lights only while pressed).
Charging the torch - flip open the rubber cover of the USB-C port (or disconnect the remote switch) and use the included cable to connect it to a computer, a mains USB adaptor or a car USB adaptor (not included). Any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED next to the port lights red; once fully charged it lights green. Charging a fully depleted battery takes approximately 2 hours. Warning: Do not charge the torch if you are using disposable CR123A batteries inside.
Battery status indication - after switching the torch on, the LED indicator activates for 3 seconds. If it lights green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Flashing green means 50–85%. Solid red means 25–50%. Flashing red indicates less than 25% capacity remaining. (This function is active only when using a Li-ion rechargeable battery).
Battery replacement - unscrew the torch head and insert the battery with the positive terminal facing outwards (towards the head). Then fully tighten the head again.
Intelligent overheat protection - if the torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, the output will be automatically reduced. Once the temperature drops below a safe limit, the output will gradually increase again.
Warning
Use only quality rechargeable batteries or branded CR123A batteries to avoid damage to the torch, for example due to battery leakage.
When using the torch on a weapon, observe all safety principles.
Insert batteries with the positive terminal facing the torch head.
The torch accumulates a large amount of heat; use safely to avoid burns.
When carrying in luggage or storing, remove the battery or loosen the torch head to prevent accidental activation.
If the torch flashes, shines at low output or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is depleted – replace or recharge it.
- The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
