   The midsole combines the stability and durability of PU with the low weight and high energy return of e-TPU, while a special cushioning insert in the heel area absorbs impact on landing and efficiently returns energy into every next step – this technology, developed in cooperation with BASF, is unique in the outdoor footwear sector.
2. StraightFit Extra anatomical fit for natural foot movement
   The HANWAG StraightFit Extra last provides more space in the forefoot, allowing the big toe to sit in a natural position and helping the foot tire significantly less on long routes than is typical with standard-shaped shoes.
