The Fathom 29 is a bike that you can have a lot of fun with off-road, even without rear suspension. It features modern trail geometry, a 130mm air fork and a telescopic seatpost.
The Fathom 29 is built on an ALUXX SL aluminium frame, with the frames manufactured in our own factory. We use high quality alloy and advanced manufacturing methods and processes to produce these frames - this makes the frame very lightweight, yet stiff and strong enough.

Overdrive Oversize front fork post technology is designed to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise bike handling. It includes oversize headset bearings (lower 1 1/4" and upper 1 1/8" on road bikes and lower 1 1/2" and upper 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and a tapered fork post for optimal steering stiffness. |  |
The Giant Crest 34 air fork with 130mm travel will iron out any bumps with sensitivity. Especially on descents, you'll appreciate the telescopic seatpost controlled from the handlebars, and the Maxxis tyres in the combination of Minion DHF at the front and Aggressor at the rear will give you more confidence even on very broken terrain.
