The FastRoad AR Advanced is built on an Advanced Composite carbon frame. We manufacture these frames in-house in our own factories using the highest quality raw materials and advanced manufacturing methods and processes. As a result, they have high stiffness at low weight and provide excellent handling characteristics. A stiffer center compound area improves pedaling power transfer so you can accelerate and climb hills faster and with less effort.

Advanced Composite Technology In our in-house carbon processing factory, we use premium raw carbon with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio to produce custom Advanced Composite material. The front triangle of the frame is assembled and mold cured as one continuous piece (monocoque) using a patented manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.

The rims come with tubeless tape and valves from the factory, so all you have to do is apply sealant and your wheels are fully ready for tubeless.

The Giant ErgoContact saddle helps to maximize comfort, as does the D-Fuse carbon seatpost, which, thanks to its specific "D" shape, "springs" slightly to help dampen vibrations coming off the surface. Wider 700x40c tyres with a fine tread pattern also contribute to greater comfort and confidence (especially on rougher surfaces). In addition, the tyres are tubeless - modern 'tubeless' technology delivers improved handling and reduces the risk of punctures.

The frame geometry is adapted to the straight handlebars, allowing a more upright body position for confident handling. Hydraulic disc brakes provide strong stopping power and smooth modulation, improving bike handling, even in changeable weather. The brake calipers are mounted with modern flat mounts and 12mm solid axles provide the necessary stiffness. The OverDrive fork column increases steering stiffness, improving the bike's handling.
