Imagine a light, fast, comfortable and great handling road bike, but more versatile. The FastRoad AR is just that, with an aluminum frame, carbon fork and straight handlebars that create a comfortable riding position and deliver more confidence than traditional curved road handlebars. This is therefore a bike that is ideal for fitness rides to improve fitness, but perhaps also for riding in the city.

The FastRoad AR is built on a modern and lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame with internal bowden routing and integrated seatpost. ALUXX frames are manufactured in-house in our own factory, using high quality aluminium alloy and advanced manufacturing methods and processes. As a result, they have high stiffness at low weight and provide excellent handling characteristics. For better vibration damping and thus reducing hand fatigue, the bike is equipped with a carbon fork.

ALUXX Aluminum Technology The frame material with a focus on performance cycling features 6061 alloy with single reinforced tubes. It is used to produce strong and lightweight framesets for a variety of bike types and riding styles.
	Giant Tubeless System Fewer flats. Better tire grip. Less rolling resistance, more comfortable and faster ride. With Giant's tubeless system, you can enjoy all these benefits. The rims come with tubeless tape and valves from the factory, so all you have to do is apply sealant and your wheels are fully ready for tubeless operation.

The frame geometry is tailored to fit straight handlebars, allowing a more upright body position for confident handling. Hydraulic disc brakes provide strong stopping power and smooth modulation, improving bike handling, even in changeable weather. The brake calipers are mounted with modern flat mounts and 12mm solid axles provide the necessary stiffness. The OverDrive fork column increases steering stiffness and thus improves the bike's handling.

The Giant ErgoContact saddle helps to maximise comfort, as does the D-Fuse carbon seatpost, which, thanks to its distinctive 'D' shape, 'springs' slightly to help dampen vibrations coming off the surface. Wider 700x40c tyres with a fine tread pattern also contribute to greater comfort and confidence (especially on rougher surfaces). In addition, the tyres are tubeless - modern "tubeless" technology delivers improved handling and reduces the risk of punctures.
