Black Diamond's Distance Carbon Z cross-country ski poles are made entirely of carbon fiber, complete with a lightweight foam grip and adjustable strap. They are the perfect choice for trail runners and fans of fast mountain climbs, as they are very lightweight and fit perfectly into a running pack or vest. The folding system, which works just like an avalanche probe, allows you to unfold the poles in one pull even as you move. The poles are compatible with snow plates and can also be used in winter for skialpping.
