Aggressive, classy and unwavering... these words describe the Vigilante 2.3, and the same goes for the wider 2.5 / 2.6 versions.
TriTec uses three rubber compounds to provide different levels of traction, support and durability based on their placement in the casing. The entire pattern is supported by a base of high-hard rubber that goes up to the mid-height of the tread lugs, allowing softer compounds to be used in the lugs without deforming them due to cornering forces. The top of the centre lugs consist of a medium-hard durometer compound that provides traction and durability without compromising rolling efficiency, while the outer lugs consist of the softest compound for maximum grip and slow rebound.
In addition to its light weight, the new SG2 tire protection will provide excellent puncture and puncture protection. This new protection layer is lightweight and features an ultra-thin nylon liner that covers the entire tire surface from bead to bead. So you can hit any surface without worrying about punctures.
